The Town Crier is inspired by Andrea’s time working at The News. Drawing on experience in graphic design and illustration, it takes the form of a bold, tabloid-style artwork for the lion sculpture. The piece features key headlines from the past 100 years, each marking an important historical moment. It will be painted in acrylics using techniques that mimic torn newspaper fragments and a collage effect, creating a layered, dynamic look.
