Meet Diverse City, the lion that is about the idea of bringing people together for a community-driven project that celebrates the amazing diversity of the people of Portsmouth. The artist, Caroline, believes that inclusivity and acceptance benefit all, encouraging participation and helping to ensure that every voice counts.
Working with the Portsmouth Grammar School community, we will explore the theme of diversity, creatively exploring what this means to the pupils. These unique and magic ideas will be transferred onto the lion, shaping the final design. Working collaboratively, we will cocreate a design that truly shows how colourfully varied and diverse city life can be Portsmouth.
