Our lion sculptures have been carefully designed and painted by talented artists for everyone to enjoy.
If you spot damage, vandalism, graffiti or anything that could affect the safety or enjoyment of a sculpture, please let us know using the form below.
We’ll assess all reports and arrange repairs where needed.
Please remember: The Pride of Portsmouth trail is free for everyone to enjoy. The sculptures are works of public art created by commissioned artists, so we kindly ask visitors not to climb on them and to help us keep them in great condition.
What should I report?
Please report:
- Graffiti on a sculpture or plinth
- Damage to the sculpture
- Missing or broken parts
- Damage to chains or barriers
- Safety concerns around a sculpture
- Any vandalism or suspicious activity affecting the artwork
If someone is in immediate danger, please contact the emergency services.
Before you submit
To help us investigate quickly, please provide:
- The name of the lion (if known)
- The location of the sculpture
- A brief description of the issue
- Photographs of the damage (if possible)
The more information you can provide, the faster we can assess the report.
What happens next?
Once we receive your report:
- Our team will review the information.
- The sculpture will be assessed.
- Repairs or cleaning will be arranged if required.
- In serious cases, a sculpture may be temporarily removed for safety reasons.
